Doltone House is expanding and we are recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance Team.
For 55 years, Doltone House has been a leading brand in events and hospitality. Our venues have set the stage for countless celebrations and events, from weddings to global conferences.
Your responsibilities:
- Create, maintain, and review vendors’ accounts accurately and efficiently
- Match, batch, and code invoices for timely processing
- Process a high volume of invoices daily in line with company procedures
- Handle employee expense reimbursements
- Distribute invoices to the appropriate department for approval
- Produce EFT payments in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Ensure all invoices are paid within agreed trading terms
- Reconcile accounts on a monthly basis
- Respond to and resolve queries regarding invoices
- Perform filing and data entry duties (high volume)
- Assist with other administrative tasks as directed by management
Your attributes/experience:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role, specifically within the hospitality industry
- Strong experience in managing the full Accounts Payable function
- Expertise in identifying and resolving invoice discrepancies
- High-volume data entry experience with exceptional accuracy
- Strong attention to detail when processing invoices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a full-function Accounts Payable role
- Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
- Strong internal and external customer service and communication abilities
